Wamp Server is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache2, PHP and a MySQL database. Alongside, PhpMyAdmin allows you to manage easily your databases.So this tutorial will help you to setup Wamp Server in windows.

Note : You must install Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package x86 or x64
1.To run Wamp Server you need to first download and install the WampServer setup file from the link provided above.
2.During setup you will be asked to enter your SMTP name and your local Email address(If you do not need this skip this step).
3.After installing run the WampServer, in the tray icon right click the WampServer and click on “Start all services”.
4.Start your browser and type 127.0.0.1 in the browser URL bar and hit enter.
5.You will see a screen as shown in the fig below. This is the homepage of WampServer.
6.To get access to phpMyAdmin click on the phpMyAdmin in the Tools menu.
7.You will now see a screen as show below.
The login credentials are
Username : root
Password : (Blank)
8.Your are done you have created your first local server.
