Redirection in WordPress may be difficult for new bloggers. Instead of messing up with code here is a easy way to Set Up redirects within your WordPress blog by using a plugin called Redirection. For example by using this method I can redirect 128.199.224.11/go/youtube to www.youtube.com. This method will be helpful if you are using affiliate links in your website. The user will not find affiliate links in your website and it will be enclosed.
Steps to Set Up Redirects in WordPress
1. Download and install Redirection plugin. Then Activate the Redirection plugin.
2. In WordPress sidebar open Tools -> Redirection. Now Redirection plugin will open.
3. In the Add new redirection section enter the URL which is to be redirected in the Source URL TextBox. In the Target URL textbox enter the URL where the source is to be redirected. In the screenshot I have redirected the source URL 128.199.224.11/go/youtube to our youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/thelearn2crack. Now when you enter 128.199.224.11/go/youtube in the browser it will be redirected to our Youtube channel.
